Default Carb Hookup Help

I recently bought a 68 Convertible that has a 327 350hp Engine.
The Motor Runs good, but there are a few unused ports, 2 that are plugged and 1 that is not. Additionally there is a Place for a Wire.
I've Marked my Pics with Letters, any help would be appreciated.
Are these fine to leave they way they are? What is the Benefit of having these hooked up? I've Never been much of a Grease Monkey so please keep in mind that I may not know the Typical Jargon, but looking to Learn. Thanks in advance.

You are aware that this carb is NOT for your engine...right??

A) Electric choke...and it will need to be wired in to work.
B) If I am not mistaken ...this is where the choke assembly that actually fits into the intake manifold connects to it..AND with your intake being made for a divorced choke...it can not be connected correctly.
C) Cap it off.
D) Cap it off. Not used on your car...but was in later years.
E) Cap it off. Not used on your car...but was in later years.

ALSO...in case you are not aware of it. There is a fuel filter in your carburetor ( 'FILTER' is cast in raised letters on the main body where the steel lines goes into your fitting in the carb)....so that aftermarket one is not needed (choice is yours)...and...I would replace the SOLID fuel line from the fuel pump to the carb and DO AWAY with ANY hose clamps between the pump and the carb. And you can get a line for a later model Corvette due to the carb is from the 76+ era I believe due to the capped off bowl vent tube I can see. To be absolutely certain...I would need to know the carb number.

First off, just so you know, thats the wrong carb, thats a later electric choke q-jet. Yours should be a early divorced choke q-jet.
Anyway, I'll give it a shot
a. Electrical connection for electric choke, should have battery voltage with key in "run"
b. I think is the stove connection that brings heat up from intake manifold to assist electric choke(not totally sure on that one)
c.????, hopefully someone will chime in, probably ported or timed vacuum, plug it
d. not sure what its for, but you dont need it, leave it plugged.
e. I beleive its manifold vacuum, might want to try hooking up distributor advance to it and seeing if engine runsd better, if not, plug it.
