lights stay on
doing a lS1 swap and I'm trying to get it started.The lights stay on even when the key is off.Also the motor wont start.It pops a few cylinders then nothing.I got one of those ebay vats delete things but I do get signal at the injectors.So I dont think its the vats.What else should I look for?

Depending on actually which filament is being burned..to make them be ON..all of these lights have no bearing on if the key is on or not.
Headlight switch and door jamb switches or wire disconnected off of them and they are touching something steel...thus grounding that wire...making your interior lights on...OR the **** on the headlight switch is turned to keep them on.
