Default Lower Radiator Hose

How hard is it to change the lower radiator hose on a 1969 350/350 vette?

It is very tight but not too bad. You will want to slit the old one to make it easier to get off. Getting the new one on the radiator is a little difficult since there is no room to wiggle it into place. Be sure to slide the clamps on so that they can be positioned to make access easier.

when i put the 350 engine back in my 72, i had the same problem.

my solution was to remove the top n middle radiator support bolts and loosen the bottom ones, 3 per side, and any other brackets,
that allowed me to tilt the support frame up enough to get access to the hose area.
bit of lube on the inside of the hose helped as well.

Coat the hose contact areas with a little grease which will ease placement. Not a fun job.

I would use good old fashioned Sex Lube. Seriously, KY is water based and dries out fairly quickly.

OP, it's not that difficult, but some parts store hoses will require some trimming to fit properly.

Edit: To add, it's easier if you remove the fan clutch/fan and take off the Shroud Extension as well.

Pain in the butt, but seriously if you follow the above advice( which is basically how I did mine) you'll have no problem....just takes awhile to do.
