Cant answer your questions. but I figure with all the rust I removed and sanded down I've lost 200lbs  . Rustier C3's are cheaper and faster :p: .
You can remove the rear bumper-solid steel across the rear. The rear impact shocks (at least that's what I call them) There's one on each side bolted to the end of the frame. Of course, all spare tire stuff. I used Simpson seats, we put extra foam in the covers, there not good for long runs, but there weight is 6lbs. each. Convo pros or a similar light drag race wheel. hmmm Im sure there's more..
I acid dipped my front vacuum resovior then drill it full of holes. It started out at close to 40 lbs and went back in around 19 lbs. After acid dipping and drilling I had it powder coated. Every bracket in my front end has had the same hole treatment followed by powdercoating.
As for running the head light assembly I run it straight of the intake without any problems. The motor does not change idle when I pull on the head lights.
I also run centerline drag light rims and up until this year lightweight drag tires.
With bigblock, 8-71 blower and full tank of gas without me it weighs exactly 3500 lbs.
Also, I always thought the stock seats were rather light but some people have suggested racing seats. Anyone know how much the stock ones weigh?
I didn't put mine on a scales, but they must be 30-40 lbs each. You wouldn't believe how heavy all the stock behind the seats carpet and sound insulation weighs. I pulled that stuff, rear speakers, panel, roller slide cover.
my stock seats are only like 10-15 lbs if that. i had them out when i was installing carpet. if my boney azz could take them out no problem, then they dont wiegh much. and the glass vs rubber bumpers, i would stay with the rubber (urethane) they wiegh about the same as fiberglass. and it will give you that added sence of security when the worst can happen.
