Wiper Arm Removal Hints
Wiper arm removal without the "special" tool? Is there a trick to pulling the wiper arm off? The tool looks like it acts almost like a bottle cap opener.

Hi L,
There is a little 'prong' on the underside of the arm that locks it to the wiper transmission.
You can use a very small screwdriver to pry it it up. This releases the arm so the arm can be slid off the transmission stalk.
With out releasing the prong the arm won't come off unless the prong is broken.

Thanks Allen I did not realize there was a prong on there. Speed great did not know that i could get this tool locally! I am going to get it today so I can continue my resto work!!!
