Need help- Electric problem extravaganza
Now the plot thickens. I have, in 3 days, lost:
*My dashboard lights
*My radio
*Turn signals
*Faith in my abilities :nonod:
I still have:
*Headlights
*4-ways
*Key in the ignition buzzer
...and I'm about to give up:smash: I've checked:
*Every ground on the frame
*The battery
*Starter
*Fuses
If anyone can help, I will be more than happy to buy your next adult beverage  I'm almost ready to consult a professional... and then take my car into the shop
gracias,
doc
You are gonna want to get a wiring diagram specific for your year car. It'll give you wire colors and wire gauge size to help with the tracing.
I know how frustrating electrical problem can be, half the time I spend at work is solving electrical problems on industrial machines and there control circuits. Theres nothing more fun then taking a 30 year old wiring diagram that hasn't been updated to trace a glitch :smash: .
Good Luck and keep the faith.

Second...you have the collective knowledge of many, many very smart people here on the forum. (and some not quite as smart)
Third...there are lots of books to research.
Fourth... I can't think of more
Anyway, take a history. What has been done lately? Has anybody done anything that could have started all this?
Next take another look around for anything obvious that you might have missed (although it doesn't seem likely). Bad wiring, damage, etc.
You have done the obvious like grounds, fuses, now start drawing circuits and talking to yourself and it will become more clear. You did not talk about your level of electrical proficiency, but learning sounds like the order of the day. It boils down to looking for voltage and tracing wires.
I called the towns car elec guy last week and took 10 minutes of his time on the phone. So today I dropped off a check for $10. His chin hit the floor and I am his new best friend...Keep posting on your progress...
:yesnod:
Do you have a test light. If not get one and start testing connections to see if you have power.
Check for power at fuse bolck and across with fuse in.
A wiring diagram is a must.
Hope this helps some.
