What is the best method of removing after market window tint. Previous owner had windows tinted and they are too dark for me. I like to see other driver's faces when stopped at lights and stop signs so I can read what they are gonna or not gonna do. This has saved my bacon many times during my motorcycle riding years. I want the other driver too have the same advantage with me when I'm driving the Corvette. Any suggestions? Thanks
Razor blade, it takes forever but it's the only way. Watch out with the back window and the defroster (if you have it). You can scrape the conductive material right off.
Alcohol. spray it, soak it... pull on it... repeat... scrape the remaining glue off with a blade... it will take a little while, but it will come off!
Use a razor blade and mix up some diluted ammonia in a spray bottle. I don't remember exactly how strong I mixed it, but it took it right off on a truck I did. I wouldn't recommend using any sort of fuel for obvious reasons.
Thanks for all the input. Nope, don't drive at night in Tennessee. Black car, too many deer that think they have the right of way no matter what the out come might be. :seeya
