Transmission work needed

I have a Borg Warner super t 10 transmission in my 71 and looking to find someone who knows how to work on it. It has trouble getting into 3rd some times. I'm told the sincros or something like that are no good. Don't know anything about transmissions.
If you know of a good shop in my area that would be a big help.

d&l transmissions in huntington,L.I. has been around along time and has a good reputation.You could also try 5speeds.com in N.J. Check out there web site.
