needs some help with l31 engine build
Ive desided to leave my original engine alone and build a salvage yard engine instead.Ended up getting a core 02 vortec with 4 bolt mains and the 906 heads for 150.engine was running but smoking like using oil.Anyway i purchased it for a price that most locals want for a set of heads in unknown condition .engine is apart and block is in a machine shop we use a lot .I asked to have the block inspected for damage /out of round …i should have info tomorow
My idea is to build the car a bit ,but without the need of a new upgraded trans and new rear end and drive line upgrades right away .My car had the trans rebuild as well as the rear end done 2 years ago.i don't mind spending 3k on the engine ,but another trans and rear end its a whole other story.my car is 80 by the way
