Q-jet Stains
Just wondering if this is normal staining after 2000 miles.
I'd guess this is why Carburetor Spray Cleaner was invited.
But why the stains?

Thanks for the replies folks!
I had a PVC valve stuck in the left stock valve cover, and just a pipe from the right cover going to the air cleaner. All stock. After 2000 miles, this is the result.
New 383 setup has no PVC or pipe: just breathers stuck in the covers.
Queston; should I knock out holes on the bottom of the lowered air cleaner and put stock plumbing back in? Exempt from smog checks, but just concerned about performance.
