6 Volt Battery and storage

I wanted to increase storage space- and not run a luggage rack.
This past summer running my 73 on an almost 3000 mile week long roadtrip, I realized how storage challenged these cars are!!! ESPECIALLY if you have a female passenger...
I have read several threads on relocating the battery- most made not a lot of sense...Under the hood- no room there(especially in mine w/ the dry sump) and the heat is not a good thing for batteries.
Where do you put it? Just to gain a little extra storage in the car.
Here's my solution for the 71 restomod-
Twin Optima 6volt batteries run in a series- tucked up in the storage compartment on both sides.
I will have a "jumper post" located under the hood - salvaged from a BMW ...just in case I need to jump somebody!!!
Gotta make a mount and a cover for them-
Also looking for some good terminals- running 1/0 gauge wire. Most terminals look all pretty for car stereo applications...I'd rather have functional versus pretty...
What do you think?

I have used these exact terminals, I like them a lot.
A flag terminal on the first battery:

And a straight or 90 terminal on the second:

Yes- those are the type of terminals I was looking for- saw some on eBay- but you are always weary of the quality from there!
THANKS- will do!
