Flexplate Teeth Count
Hi All, Looking to install headers this winter and on some sites they list that their header will not fit with 168 tooth flexplate.
Anyone know if a 79 L82 has 168 tooth flexplate?

Yes, they are. Granted they are a cheap header. I always have them ceramic coated locally. But them fit very well and have plenty of plug wire clearance, whether you route under or over the header.
If you do buy them get and additional set of header gaskets. They have a slight oval design and it's to find a set of aftermarket gaskets that fit right.
