Final? Q-Jet install
I am ready to re-install the carb I rebuilt, thanks to all the help on this Forum. I was going to bring it in to a local guy who is known for this work but after reading and re-reading things on here, decided to do it myself. Special thanks to Lars and his papers. Have been swapping back and forth (I have 2 carbs for it), learning more each time, and I think I got it right now. Wish me luck! :)

good luck! I rebuilt mine, reinstalled it...... and it ran like crap! :cry Havent had the time or motivation to take it apart again, troubleshoot and figure out where I screwed up. I just put the new one back on. I need lars to get back into the rebuilding biz! :) MJ

Can you share any docs you have? I"m about to start mine this week, and with the engine rebuild, etc., theres lots of things that could go wrong, so I'd prefer to have as much knowledge as possible.

Update....I love it when what you think should work finally does! Carb idles smooth and no bog, yihaaa! Now for a long drive, then some fine tuning next week :yesnod: I found everything I needed on this forum and in the tips section, thanks again guys :cheers:
