Default new carb choice

Want a new carb for my 68. Here are the pertinent specs:

This is a weekend warrior car

383 (.030 over)
9.5 CR
original camel hump heads opened to bigger valves ( but want carb to handle AFR 185's in case I go that route.

Original intake manifold ( but again if I go AFR I will change this out too)

Stans Tri-Y headers

Engle EP-22-HYD cam ( see cam card pic)

Close ratio Muncie

original 3.73 pumpkin

I want to use Holley carb. But not sure which one.

I am thinking 750 CFM
electric choke
Controlled secondary (vacuum)

Please advise. Thanks in advance

Have a similar 383 set up & run a Holley 750 Double Pumper.
Only draw back is it never passes a gas station it doesn't like, LOL.

A 750 would be great with your combo.

Q-jet is a 750 CFM carb. Good economy and good power in one.

750 Holley should be fine! I am a big fan of the vacuum secondaries too.

Quadrajet is tough to beat. Send yours off to Lars for a rebuild. Tell him what you have, future plans and have him build and set it up for now and ask for later changes you will need. Quadrajet is the absolute best option for performance and economy if properly set up and will run 190 HP to 500 HP.
