LS7 454 into L89 look alike input.
I found out my car was a L89 car and wanted to try and make my LS7 look more like an L89 with some aluminum heads and a tri power intake. I was going to try and put a date correct motor together but that doesn't look like it's going to happen unless I hit the lotto.
The motor is the same as it came out of the crate and I'm fine with running 100 octane still I just want some aluminum heads that will keep the performance the same.
For tri power I may have to stick with the oe. It's not nearly as steep in price as the heads and block for a complete factory tri power setup.

My LS-7 has Dart heads and a L-88 intake, I too thought of a OE tri power...then I sold the car making the issue moot.....ran great,,,11.42....
