I have intensions of getting my transmission rebuilt for my 76 Stingray. It has the original automatic transmission. I feel it slipping at higher RPM. I can't even go that fast because at higher speeds it slips more and takes me longer to get up to speed. (I'm talking like 80 -90)
I know I can "Google" Speed shops near me, I live across the sound from Seattle. I just want other actual other Corvette owners that have been to such shops to tell me who is good and who is not good. I'll probably have to go to Seattle but that is fine with me. There are other smaller things that need to be looked at too, I just need a competent mind to look at it with me a take her for a spin to know what's really wrong. Thank You in advance.

If you don't find any Corvette owners responding from your area, let me know and I can ask a lifelong friend of mine that owns a shop in Hansville. He'll at least have a good recommendation for the peninsula. Maybe a lot more options around Metro Seattle I would guess. Steve
