Interchangeable Frame? 72 Vette
I am seriously looking at buying a 72 but the rusted frame sounds shot! The rest of the vehicle (engine too) is in good condition and has potential. What other year model frames could be used for this car? Does anyone have one for sale? Does anyone have any other suggestions? What price range would be acceptable for a vehicle in this condition?

Frame swap including a good frame is about 6 grand....and for that, it's a used frame..take you chances on rust, etc....gotta see it first....
now to do it yourself, less than 2 grand should get you a nice straight unrusted frame...but you gotta wait to find it...not in everyone's hip pocket type thing....Carlysle coming up...may be good buys there, but watch it!!!!
you should be able to find one that' not all bent up either....gotta know what you looking at...
anything from say 69-72 is an exact swap...later on'es may work also but have to change a whole bunch of front end stuff around....
rear end also...bumpers...etc....good welder may not have much troubles...
