Default Fast Easy EFI ECU positioning

Hello everyone,
I just bought the Fast EZ EFI System and i will start installing it soon.
For those who have already installed this system, where did you put the ECU? I read in the technical documentation that it had to be more than 2 ft from the distributor to reduce the risk of EM interference.

Thank you for your feedback.

I put my Holley ECU behind the dash. It's only inches from the coil/dizzy, but I haven't had any issues.

I mounted my Fast Ez-EFI ECU behind the removable driver's side front fender grille for easy access. I guess if you don't have a 70-72, that spot isn't really good though! Not shown in the pic below is the water shield I made to cover it:

Default Mine is under the passenger side dash...

About centered in the passenger side of the dash. I drilled a hole immediately aft of the distributor and ran the harness straight back. into the passenger compartment. The harness runs back through under the center console and into the battery compartment.

I tried to minimize the amount of wiring in the engine compartment to avoid Elect noise interference.

I am going to install the FAST EZ system on my '80 and GM 350 HO crate as soon as I finish the fuel system mods (Walbro GSS340 pump on a modified '82 sender).

Will the harness reach to the storage compartment behind the passenger seat?

Default My harness would NOT have reached

For clarification I have the harness that is used to control a TPI engine (controlling my Ram Jet 350 - essentially same sensors and connectors as a ~92 730 ECM).
My harness would NOT have reached the storage compartment. Initially I was planning to put the controller under the passenger seat before I decided to place it under the dash....and that would have been a stretch.

A word of caution to FAT users. EMI is a huge issue , be very conscious of power wire connection , its route through car , ignition on wire and its route as well as the physical ECU and wire harness .. Failure to do that can cause massive headaches
