History...fuel regulator busted fuel flowing to the plenum causing cylinder 6 and 8 flodding, replace regulator diafram, now won't idle right. Tested the fuel pressure barrowed fuel pressure gauge from Aurozone not sure if gauge is working right coz during the initial fuel pump prime the reading beyond the gauge (110+ psi) is that normal? I don't think so...while on rough idle the gauge still reading 110+. Is too much pressure can cause the rough idle and also do I have a bad fuel regulator?
If the pressure is indeed 110+psi that will definitely cause a rough idle. Try a different gauge and if it still reads high replace the regulator and check for a plugged return line.
Yes indeed the return line is clogged with rust and other stuff right after the rail where the fuel hose connect to the return tube. So its clear now did put air to it and its clear. The idle still rough maybe I need to clean the injectors coz for sure that dirty stuff that clogged the return may have gotten into the injectors.
After uncloging the return line and did another fuel pressure gauge test the remain 0 (zero) while cranking and want to start rough idle then died. is it a bad regulator?
