I'm OK with a bit of dust as long as there's no noise.

This is for a street car, no racing.
Yes the Carbotech 1521 will do the job for you. Let me know if you are interested.

Carbotech™ Bobcat 1521™ The Carbotech Bobcat 1521™ is our high performance street compound that is our most successful compound. The Bobcat compound is known for its awesome release and modulation, along with unmatched rotor friendliness. Like our AX™ & XP™ line of compounds, Bobcat 1521™ is a Ceramic based friction material offering minimal rotor damage and non-corrosive dust. Bobcat 1521™ offers outstanding performance, even when cold, low dusting and low noise with an excellent initial bite. This compound’s virtually perfect linear torque production provides incredible braking force without ABS intervention. Bobcat 1521™ operating range starts out at ambient and goes up to 900°F. Bobcat 1521™ is suitable for ALL street cars, perfect for your tow vehicle, police cruiser. The Bobcat 1521™ compound has been found to last two-three times longer than OE pads you can purchase at a dealership or national retailer. That’s one of the beauties of Carbotech Ceramic brake compounds. Bobcat 1521™ is NOT recommended for any track use.

If I navigated your site correctly, I need CTW7420-1521?

I can't find a graph of cf vs temp. I'd like to see one so I can compare it to the wilwood graph. You say "outstanding performance", but unless you have a higher cf than 0.38 @ 100F, it won't be better than what I have now.

Basically, my problem is that with sticky tires I'm not able to lock the wheels unless I get heat in the pads. I want pads that allow lock-up even when cold.

I found a spec that says the 1521 has a cf of 0.46, but it didn't give the temp. 0.46 would be ok for me, but not if I need to get the pads to 500F until I get the 0.46...

The 1621 comes in at ambeint teatime. This pad will have more until bite. What tires are you on?

Nothing super sticky, just some Nitto 555 255/50-17. But compared to the tires that it came with from the factory they are super-sticky. I already swapped out the 1 1/8" bore master for a 1" which helped, but still not quite enough line pressure to lock them up when cold.

Can you confirm the CTW7420-1521 for superlite calipers using the 7420 pad? I figured it's the right one as it has "7420" in the part number, but want to be sure.

So you're saying the 1521 will have better friction than the wilwood polymatrix q at ambient?

I don't want to spend $130 just to find out they work the same as the pads I have now.

Yes, we have the 7420 pad shape and it will have a lot better bite. Order them and if you are not happy for some reasonable reasoning, send them back and I will give you your money back.

Ok, I tried ordering but when I entered the promo code I got "Sorry, this coupon is not applicable to your cart contents."

Is there another code I should use?

I tried it on the screen where it asks for an address. Don't think there're any more steps than that. But I'll give you a call instead.

What do you recommend for bedding the new pads? I'm planning to use a 60-grit disc on a drill to rough up the rotors, clean with brake-clean.
