Default Thread size please

I need to know what the thread size of a hole in my block is. It is the hole above the oil temperature sending unit hole above the oil filter. It looks like the clutch pivot ball would be mounted there. This is on a crate motor. I need to put a plug in the hole so I need the thread size please. I can take a picture if needed.

The 350 that I have on the stand right now is 1/2-13

Why would you need to plug that hole?

bashcraft - Simply to keep dirt ,oil, water, fluids, etc. out of the torque converter/flywheel area.

I do the same thing... any threaded holes not being used I fill with a stainless bolt/screw. It's one of those **** retentive things. Can't help it. Not ashamed that I do it.
