Default Radiator mounting

I just got my Dewitt radiator. I am going to have my mechanic install it. What else do I need to have to make the project go smoothly and be correct in the end. I don't want to tie the garage up.

Any and all foam seals that are required would be a PLUS.

I do not know if DeWitts is now providing new rubber cushions where the tank mount to the lower and upper core support areas.

Have you mechanic be VERY WATCHFUL of the upper mount brackets and the inlet tube on the drivers side tank. So when it is all bolted in place...the steel of the upper factory mount is not touching or close to touching your new radiator.

Not knowing what year you are talking about....not much more I can say....I am only commenting on what I experienced when installing one on a 1974 and DeWitts took care of the fit issues. When it was corrected...it was a PERFECT FIT. Plenty of clearance at the upper left tank/inlet tube.

I have a 1979. He's a good guy and knowledgeable on the old cars. In fact if the vette needs something he picks it up on a nice day and brings it back. Advantages of small town America

As DUB mentioned the rubber cushions, Dewitt had a post to advise us that he now sells the rubber cushions for a perfect fit to his radiators. OEMs are not a perfect fit and remembering the condition of mine they needed to be replaced anyway. T
