Well when I disconnected the other plug fuse was good. Plugged it back in an it popped the fuse. The antenna itself was unplugged. So there is a short in the wiring after the relay.
Well I got under the car and looked at the wiring for the antenna and look at what I found GOT THE WIRES SEPARATED AND INSULATED AND NOW I HAVE A POWER ANTENNA THAT WORKS
*********not an electrician************
Recently installed new antennae and wired the red to orange pwr & blue to the yellow. The black ground is not attached to anything. Problem?
The new antennae worked when everything was torn apart/disconnected. Now that I have everything back together my courtesy fuse continues to blow immediately.
I get I probably have to take all that crap apart again but can someone explain, in laymen terms, what I should be looking for as I unplug each system? Or whatever I need to do.
