No problem with cooling Just got tired of the big engine driving fan sound like a school bus.

I used these:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-ALL-ALUMINUM-RADIATOR-FAN-SHROUD-W-12-FANS-1977-1982-CHEVY-CORVETTE-/271745235515?vxp=mtr#ht_6563wt_1268

Works great; didnt break the bank and is quiet.

These Summit fans, http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-g4850, are a little more expensive than the 11" ones you linked to, but are 12" duals w/S blades so maybe a little quieter. As you can see from the pics they almost cover the entire surface of the radiator and clear the left control arm by at least 1/4".

It will be at least a month before I'm road-ready again and probably a few months from weather that will really test the fans cooling ability.

They're not very deep

I went with the same fans from Summit Racing!!!

I went with the FLX-480 from summit. 3,000cfm and I like it. I know it's pricy but it covers most of the radiator and fits like it belongs there. I also upgraded my alternator to 100A.

I think I'm going with the G4850's from Summit and a 100 Amp alt
