Hidden antenna

Anyone ever use one of the hidden antennas with any success. I'm thinking about covering the antenna hole and replacing with interior antenna. The one's I've seen don't have very good reviews. Just an idea for now; might stay with the mast.

I did not like the fixed mast so I bought a generic retractable one. It took a little work to get a bracket made but really no big deal. Have not heard good reviews of the hidden ones.

I have a hidden antenna, its not the greatest reception but then again I never listen to the radio

I have the Dakota Digital hidden antennae in my 68 Mustang & 70 Vette. Both are on the windshield in the top right corner.

No issues with reception on either car

I have a hidden one in mine. Great reception, in fact better than my other 3 vehicles. Could not decide where to install it without cable showing or tearing to much apart, so I stuffed it in the console next to the shifter.

Don't know the brand. Stopped at a car stereo installer store and he them in stock.
