Yes, you should block the front wheels, but the car won't be any more likely to roll just because the rear is on stands, as long as the floor is level.

Thanks for that photo. I've decided to go with the six jack stands. Four at the normal jacking points and two under the front suspension. The floor in my garage is finished smooth with a sealer, and I'm just concerned any chock could/would slide.
By the way, that two by four standing vertical behind your jack stand, what is it supporting?
