I finally have my regulator, motor and switch! what tool do i use to remove the window motor? My Plan is to remove the window motor so i can crank up the regulator manually to get to the upper stop.

If you have a new regulator, wouldn't you replace that also? I always remove the motor and regulator together. Much easier in my book. Do a search on this site for replacement and you will find help. If you try this without instruction you may break or cut off a finger! The lifting spring in the regulator is dangerous as it helps lift the weight of the side window. It is released when you unbolt the window motor.
I'm sure Wilcox will be happy to advise you also-----listen to them. They know what they're doing.

my window is down and the regulator coil broke so the regulator is sitting on the motor to point that it burned the motor out. The way I was going to tackle the job was to crank the window reguator up manually but assumed I had to remove the three bolts from the window motor to get to the gear. please advise

What model year? If memory serves, later years have the motors riveted to the regulators.

Window is fixed. Fixing it sucked. Way easier if the window was already up! shout out to phil and wilcox. Now onward to weatherstripping
