Default need help on full all bushing kit??

After building a new home about 5 years back, and all the projects that go with it (wife and I do a lot of projects ourselves) finally ready to get the ol' gal back on the road. 79 383 stroker/.30 over. Have had her up on the rear garage lift for sometime now

Looking at replacing all bushings - suspension and steering. On the surface, the poly bushings seems to make sense, but I have heard some not so great things about them here on this forum?" I presently have Energy red p/u for the motor mounts and trans mount. Any help really will be appreciated, don't want to go through the time and money if the product is not good. The Prothane kit is what I was looking at, but want to do it right - if I am going to do it. Here is a few pics of the car. Thanks!! Jon.

Also - any difference between (better or worse) Energy and Prothane products?

I have the black poly bushings on my suspension. They are black because they are impregnated with graphite which might account for why I hear less complaints about squeaks from the people who have black poly.

Then again, my Pypes Race Pro exhaust system might just be louder than any squeaks I have.
