The AIM helps a little. 3M automotive weatherstrip cement for adhesive. What is the air temperature where you're working? The 3M likes warm temps.

Hi C,
It's a good idea to dry-fit the piece first so you can see how the vertical lip on the weatherstrip fits into the weatherstrip retainer flange.
Also mark the vertical position so you don't have to slide the weatherstrip up or down once you've applied the glue and put the strip in place.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan

Thank you, from your answer am I to understand it is only attached In Flange with adhesive? Reason I am asking is replacement pieces have a small hole at corner, didn't knowif there was a screw or pin needed to retain with adhesive.
On a side note I have seen many of your replies to questions and quite frankly I'm amazed at the pictures you provide for reference.nice job

Hi Greg,
I didn't mention the lower hole because I wasn't sure if 69s used it.
I don't see it in the drawing Mike posted.
My 71 has a pop rivet at it's bottom. (Set from the inside.)
Regards,
Alan

Thanks, from what I can see it looks like I'll have to pull panel to access. Please correct me if I'm wrong, thanks again.
