Default Jack Placement

Where is the best spot to position a jack (front and rear) to raise the
nose or tail ?

On the front of the car, place the jack almost directly under the air vent, about half the distance between the front tire and the door. For the back, go about 6-8 inches from the rear tire (towards the front). Just make sure that you've got nothing but frame when you start to put weight on the jack- fiberglass doesn't hold up real well under stress:eek: ...

I meant to raise the entire front (both wheels) or back...not only one side.

Sorry 'bout that.

However, I think that doing it one side at a time might be the most eficient and safest:smash: way to get it done. Check out this thread and see if it helps any:

I can't be of much help for getting the whole front or rear at once... never done it.
