yes ive used it and i have a brand new one sitting on the shelf right now...ran it in a 350 8.5 compression edlebrock performer manifold holley 600 carb 2 1/2 duals with a 3.08 rear, had plenty of low end torque pulled to about 5200.auto trans with stock convertor but the cam was advanced 4 degrees when i put it in to help with low end.for the price its not bad.

i had a set of stock 882 castings with stock replacement valvesprings in it good for 500 lift.that cam i believe had around 442 to 465 lift right?you should be fine if your springs are in good shape.Im always trying different cams and brands all the time and the summit cams for the money were pretty decent.

I would think twice about a generic part like that. I bought a summit electric fuel pump and after returning it for the second time for not working, I bought the holly instead.
Is the came made in america?
Is it worth saving 20 or 30 bucks.
