so have a 3310-6 Holley right now and looking to replace it with something that has electric choke, any suggestions? would like to stay with holley if possible and would like to find a used cheap one.
my engine is a bit of a mystery engine as it is a numbers matching l-48 but have no ideal whats all been done it it, holley dominator intake, has an HEI distributor, has long tube headers with catless side exhaust, and was told it has vortex heads but no ideal of the cam
I've had really good luck with the Holley 650 double pumper which does have an electric choke. Ive used them on both carb'd LS motors Ive built and they were set up nicely right out of the box....only needed minor tweaking.
why dont you just install the electric choke conversion kit which would be much cheaper than a new carburetor
apparently they don't exist for this carb, talked to summit and a few other places and got told nope. also carb seems to have been Frankenstein-ed together and ghetto rigged.
what kind of choke does it currently have, I have a 3310-1 and installed the coil below. I originally had a hot air coil which had a copper line going to a stove clamped to a header pipe. Switched coils, ran fresh air to connection that originally went to header.
