Default Sway bar installation - 75

My latest no I'm not a mechanic question. Just ordered a gymkhana front sway bar. Looks pretty straight forward to change out. My question is verifying that all I need to do is put the car up on jack stands and just do the replacement, right? Or do I need to do something else to release tension on the front end.
As always thanks for all the forum support.

I prefer to do it with it on the ground an not up on stands ESPECIALLY WHEN you go to install the end link bolts and rubber cushions.

I have ramps that I have made that allows me to drive the car up on them easily and slide under the car and have at it.

Thanks, wasn't sure if there were some other tensions involved. Didn't want something to snap back at me.

Jack stands are fine if you put them under the A arms. Mine fit well below the shocks.

Only if you are trying to do this with the a-arms not supported...and they are hanging down...so-to-speak. The angles are off on the end link bolts. Then trying to get the sway bar end links to work and install can be FUN.
