Courtesy light sockets
Does anyone know where to get sockets for the courtesy lights. I've tried the local auto stores and looked through all the catalogs but to no avail. I'd hate to have to change out the whole harness just for these 2 sockets but I can't find sockets with two wires going to them locally and all the manufacturers sell just the harness not repair kits. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I found this in the G M standard parts book, part# 2974308, fits.62 dia hole/part#6297918,fits.75dia hole.If not at the dealer,try these guys the are VERRY GOOD to deal with, Pacific Corvette/1-800-228-2857!! :smash:

I had good luck contacting Gruhala Industries and talking to Gary when I needed one. He sent me two for the trans shift indicator lamp.

Thanks everyone and especially thanks for the GM part number. I've called the harness people before but they don't want to sell pieces, they just want to sell the entire harness. I'm going up to Carlisle in two weeks so I'll take a look there. If I can't find it there then I'll go to my Chevy dealer and see what they can do. Might even try a few local places. If you have a part number they can usually order it for you. Again thanks to all.
