Default Rear Differential

I just dropped my rear differential to have it gone through. I have a few questions I was hoping someone could answer.

1) The tag on the fill plug states use limited slip fluid. Is that a clear indicator that the differential is not positraction?

2) what gear ratio should I consider? I am thinking about installing a 700R4 from bow tie overdrives.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Limited slip fluid has an additive to keep the posi clutches from chattering. I am using 3.55 rears with a 2004r, works well.

Limited Slip and Positraction are the same thing. Just different marketing nomenclature.

When you put it back together, add two bottles of GM Positraction fluid and then fill it the rest of the way with diff oil.
