82 speedo questions....
2 questions
1. how do I figure the speedo drive gear for a 700 R4, 3.54 rear end with 255 60/15 tires.
2. I've eliminated the cruise control so can I run the speedo cable directly from the trans to the speedo?

Yes ...you can run a cable from the speedometer to the transmission.

I'm doing this same change. Went with a Red drive gear (17 tooth) and a Lt Blue driven gear (45 tooth). TCI has a calculator here : http://www.tciauto.com/tc/speedometer-gear-calculator
