Kind of an amateur question but assembling flywheel, clutch, bell housing and transmission and double checking the type of locker I should use. Red being high strength and blue as medium.

I am guessing the following:

Flywheel to crank, Red
Clutch to fly wheel, Red
Bell Housing to engine, None
Trans to bell housing , none or blue.

I usually avoid red because I take stuff apart a lot. Only like to use on things that either are critical high vibration connections or connections that cant be easily accessed or checked from time to time.

Thanks

Loctite red as in #272 which is high temperature, I don't use #271 on any automotive applications. I have air impact wrenches, never had problems with dis-assembly using this product, on the other hand when I crewed on a SCCA Trans Am car and picked up a bottle of #680 (Green) and assembled a complete front end suspension of a T/A car with it.......I was almost fired! We had to heat every part with an acetylene torch to disassemble it, that crew chief was trully PISSED!

I use blue, never red. Try taking something apart with the blue after a week. You will see it serves it's purpose.
