Default 72 Plug under passenger dash ID

Can someone tell me what this plug is for under the passenger side dash on my 72?

Is anything not working? Fan? I'll try to look under mine and see if I see the same plug.

I am troubleshooting my turn signals and reverse lights not working and was looking for the turn signal flasher under the passenger side (could not find it) and saw this unplugged and trying to figure out what it is.

That is the turn signal flasher connection. On the backside of the map pocket there is a small round flasher that it plugs into.

What is the round flasher mounted too? I looked everywhere under the dash on the passenger side and found nothing that could plug into. I will try to source a flasher locally and plug it in to see if that helps my other turn signal problem that I have going on.

It is mounted on the backside of the map pocket. The one on mine is a Wagner 552 12volt

I just took a look at mine. That's the right plug. The flasher is almost even with the bottom of the dash (map pocket) and just to the left of the vent, as shown in the picture above. It just pushes into that spring clip shown.

Hi,
If the car had a radio as an option a condenser was added to the flasher.
The condenser has two thin copper 'flags' that slip into the connecter with the prongs on the flasher.
Regards,
Alan

Thanks all. I done if my flasher came off but it was no where to be found, so went and got a couple more.
