Default Need 'backup light switch rod' dimensions.
I seem to have lost my backup switch rod. Does anyone have the dimensions? I dont want to pay 25 bucks and another 15 in shipping for a part I can probably make out of $1.79 of round steel stock from Home Depot.

Transmission is a 1972 Muncie 4 speed.

Hi S,
Here's the one from my 71.
The two stubs after the 90 degree bend are about 1/4" long.
