Default Help on evaluating a 72 purchase

I sold my Orange 72 a few months ago and now Im having withdrawals.

I just checked out a 72 4 speed, underneath & underhood looked good. My other car was original paint so there was nothing to hide, this being painted I ask for your opinions. Not on the paint quality buy on what you see body work wise.
these are my areas of concern

Thanks

Hi pdm,
Since you had an original paint car you're aware of how roughly done the jamb prep and paint was originally.
What I see in the pictures are typical looking jambs with some new paint blown into them without much care being taken.
Prepping and painting the jambs well is additional work and so they often end up looking like those in your pictures.
What the rest of the car is like and how it's priced would influence how much they bothered me.
Regards,
Alan

The original color was Elkhart Green and the yellow looks like it was shot with little prep I would be a little cautious for any body damage that is hidden

The door jambs do not look noticeably different than a couple of my C3s. They just look like that. Good luck on checking out the rest of the car, and hope its in good shape for you
