This is so frustrating. I replaced the turn signal switch in my 68 with telescoping column. I finally got it put back together with some help from this forum. Everything was working as it should. And then not. The indicators in the instrument panel don't light up, the signals don't flash, the emergency flashers don't work either. I checked the fuse box, no blown fuses.
All the power for the lights goes through the turn signal switch. Make sure the connector to the main wire harness is good. Also the quality of some of the reproduction switches are not that good. Take your steering wheel off and make sure nothing has melted on the switch.
