For anyone with rust issues, there is a comprehensive article about Rust Bullet in the May/June 2015 issue of Maximum Drive starting on page 122. You can find the article online at no cost. I have not used the product, but this article makes me want to.

2. once you open the product it doesn't last long if unused.
I used this on my VW and my 78 corvette to coat the complete inside when I replaced my carpet. Didn't have any rust, but decided to give it another coat.
Needs very little prep to use.

I have used it (brush on application) and their black top coat. For a better appearance, a light sanding to knock down any rust scale helps. I am happy with the way it turned out. I painted basically everywhere I could get to with a brush. I did it 3 years ago when I rebuilt the front suspension. The only adhesion issues I have is where the car raise on my jack-stands.
