hey guys. i believe last saturday....sorry about the delay....i bought a '74. it's quite beautiful if i don't say so myself. it's nicely equiped with a stock 350, and various other awesome parts even though it needs a bit of work but nothing i can't handle with the help of chilton's auto manual and a mechanic friend of mine. so things are looking super sexy in the driveway. anyways i just thought i should share bc if i'm like any of you guys it's like being bore a wee one. take it easy.

Stay away from the Chilton or Haynes manuals. They are just general reference books. Get the Factory Service Manual, http://www.helminc.com for a new one or check eBay for used ones, and get the Assembly Instruction Manual (AIM) from any Vette vendor or, again, on eBay.
kewl! i have a '74 too...mine needs work as well...today, i worked out a deal for my new rear bumper cover!!!! my first real vette part! i am so excited! even though i'll be eating ramen noodles for the next two weeks!
