Default dewits radiator buying help please

Greetings

I have a 75 Vette, auto trans and A/C stock set up

I am thinking of buying a Dewits radiator.
They say it's a direct bolt on.
Is this true?

Do I need add a port to the radiator and install the temperature switch, or can Iuse the stock set up

Thanx in advance

A

It is the best possible radiator you can buy for your '75. It will fit exactly like the original in every regard. You will not have to do anything to it or the car or make any adjustments. It will even look the same, only in aluminum.

I tried the Champion for my 69 BBC and it didn't fit. The upper and lower radiator mounts would have needed to be modified.

I bough the Dewitt and it dropped right in. Not sure how much different other years would be though.

The fit was like a Glove on my 1974. The sensor came already installed too.

My mechanic put mine in he didn't have a problem. I forgot to order the rubber saddles cost me extra freight.

I had very good results installing the DeWitt radiator. Still in the process of connecting the electric fans. DeWitt installed the temp sensor in the L tank under the upper radiator hose. I also ordered the new rubber saddles, and a seal, might as well. My 73 was orange, think I will go with that color. Yours looks sharp!

I just put a DeWitt's radiator in my '81. Absolutely no problems what so ever.

I put a champion in my 74 and it dropped right in, no mods. With dual electric fans and aluminum shroud it stays right around 185 deg F at idle on a 90 deg day. Never used Dewitt but everyone seems to love them. Just thought I'd chime in with an option.
