Default Wiper motor

Attachment 47883991Hello everybody
Even in Sweden we have Corvettes.
I have restored a -69 conv for 2 years and have some problems with the wiper motor.
Q: I am interested of the funktion of the parking switch and the parking function and how to check it. I have changed all the electrical Cables (Lectric) they seams to be serious.
I bought a new motor and the parking funktion do not worked. I have check, but how??????
The new motor was in a different shape and it is important to me to have all original.

With best regards Lennart Björnerhag
(I am restoring a HD Sportster -68 to strict orignal shape, I have problem to find parts. Can anyone help me????????)Attachment 47883991

Is it a 68 or 69. They are wired different and do not interchange.

Wilcox, on this site has good information.

Neither motor looks correct for your 69.... I'm going to have to research this tomorrow and see if I can help you...

This is a 1969-1972 Wiper motor.

I'm out of town today and tomorrow but I'll take a look Monday and see if I can ID the motors in your pictures better then.

So.. My advice would be for you to follow the video instructions below on how to test the motor and see if they work, I've posted all the videos for 1969-1982... if the motor fails then you know you need a motor. The issue is you don't have a good core.

You'll find a technical paper, multiple videos and a wire schematic at this link now, it should hold the answer to any question you could have on this system.

Or.. here are the new individual links.

Hey thank You for the Quick answer.
The photo of the upper one was originally mounted, I am not sure but the former owner was aged (more than 70) and I do not think he had changed it. The connectors is an unit with the solenoid.
I Think my car is an early -69 when I reading the VIN???????
If You can help me just send me a mail what I need. I have an deliverance from You, 100000117.
I have some problems with the tach. Please send an offer for restoring the distributor, shaft, bearings and so on. It is an ordinary distributor not a HEI. I want the best parts. Perhaps a new one is cheaper????
