I am going to have my 76 aligned for the second time, the first being last spring when I changed the rear strut rods, bent tie rod end and new tires, got it back and was worse than when I took it in, the mechanic at the alignment shop said the shims in the rear were rotten and that I needed new shims and to bring it back I've got new shims and just want to ensure that it's aligned properly, so could some one post the alignment specs for my 76? Thank you.
If your rear trailing arms haven't been out in the last few years, it's likely the pivot bolt where the shims are is rusted in. The alignment shop wont be able to adjust the rear tow because the trailing arm won't slide on the bolt to get the new shims in the right place.

Man I hope not, if it comes to cutting the bolts and all, I might as well change the trailing arms for rebuilt trailing arms. It would be my luck. I'll pray to zora duntov and we'll see what happens. Thanks for the heads up and potentially crappy news....
