Brake Pads
I'm rebuilding the brakes all the way around and I'm looking for good brake pads. I don't need or want pads for racing, I don't plan to do any autocross, besides they are easy enough to change, I could drop another set in if needed.
I'm looking for pads that:
1) DON'T SQUEAK!
2) Grip like hell - I don't care if they wear out on 5K miles, that will take me over 10 years anyways.
3) I don't care about brake dust
I just want something that works well with manual brakes. Anymore all they make is long-life pads for our DD and they tend to squeak and wear the rotors, but they don't wear out.
I was looking at the Hawk Ferro Carbon.
Thoughts?
