Installed new,ram clutch, pressure plate, throw, out bearing. After 100 miles.Pedal feels like its binding a,little.Creaking sort of feeling . looked at throw out bearing with camera through hole for clutch fork.Saw fine metalic dust particles. None on pressure plate.Lubed everything when I installed it.Any ideas before I yank it out yet again . thanks

Just make sure the pivot ball is screwed all the way in and you can do that with a 3/8" Allen wrench right below the upper/left 1/2" NC transmission mounting bolt.

have you checked the cross bar? the rod that comes through the fire wall pushes on the cross bar. Could that be your binding point?

It looks good.Thats the weird thing. It doesn't bind when engine is of just running. It has travel but makes a strange creaking noise when you depress it with engine running.Didnt start doing it till after less than 100 miles on it

When you push the clutch in is the crossbar/linkage hitting cyl. 5 & 7 spark plug ignition shielding?

Does it make the noise when you hold the pedal depressed or only when moving the pedal?

I always worry about making sure the throw-out bearing is not riding on the pressure plate fingers when the clutch is engaged.

With the engine running, using a flashlight, make sure the throw-out bearing is not spinning, meaning it's contacting the fingers of the pressure plate. If it is, you're have to back-off on the adjustment, until it stops spinning or floating on the fingers. Some times the clutch linkage spring gets tired and allows the t/o bearing to float on the fingers, so that's something else to check-out.

Is the new clutch a replacement for the OEM meaning that it is also a diaphragm type?

Yes its a,stock type with a little more pressure than stock. Its fine and smooth with engine off.Only happens when running.Didnt do at first just started all of a,sudden with a little over 100 miles since install.I may back off the adjustment and see what happens when I get back to it.Frustrating.Heat doesn't help things.

Did you put a little grease on the bearing retainer where the release bearing slides. If not it will feel crunchy/bindy when hot. A good synthetic hi temp grease is recommended.

When moving and only with engine running.Stuck camera in bell housing and saw fine metalic particles around fork and throw out bearing for some crazy reason.Lubed everything according to manual when installed.

Sounds like something is getting chewed up. Unfortunately the only way to tell what's going on is to remove the transmission and check.
