I have a 1978 corvette. It starts fine and idles perfect. When driving power decreases and it starts slowing down then will shut off. It will crank right back up and go for a few minutes. I checked the battery altinator; fuel pump and fuel filer and changed the module in the distributor. What woukd make it do this? Ground wire maybe? Please help.

It sounds like a plugged fuel filter. The sock, an inline filter, or in the carburetor inlet.

Just a few guesses!
Your problem sounds more fuel related not so much an electrical problem.
If a fuel filter is clogged a little and restricts full flow, your car can idle but not pass enough fuel at higher rpm's.
A Rochester carb has a small filter at the inlet, do you have that or a separate in line filter?
Another problem could be in the tank, there is a 'sock' to keep debris out of the fuel line. You might want to check that too.
I have seem the fuel supply hose going to the fuel pump gets sucked shut. I have seen this MANY TIMES....because the car will crank right back up....ad when idling there is not enough draw on the hose to close it...but under throttle..it can get sucked closed....and then if it starts to stumble like it is going to shut off...let it idle..and the bowl in the carb fills back up and you are good until you get back on the throttle.....SIMILAR to lower radiator hoses collapsing due to NOT having the spring in them. The lower radiator hose is fine at IDLE...but under throttle...it collapses. The SAME principle.
