Default brake issue

1st vette its a 76 only had it a month trying to see what's first.driving home I noticed brakes seem to drag when warm I let off the gas and come to a complete stop without touching the peddle while stoped on a incline put car in neutral and did not roll. all 4 rims were to hot to touch since its all 4 I would assume start with master cyl and bleed? Car has 68k and nothing looks replaced since day 1

Congrats on your new ride!

I would run through all the items to make it safe to drive. Brakes, tires, and front end.

Your master cylinder piston isn't retracting and letting the fluid return to the reservoir for some reason. It could be a severe rust-in-bore issue so I recommend taking it apart and looking it over; may need to replace it if the bore is too rusted to hone.

Loosen the nuts holding the master to the booster and see if the brakes release.

It will tell you if the pushrod between the master and booster is too long or adjust wrong.
